Challenge! Getting Around Clean & Green
Lesson Description:
This lesson provides two activities that could be used either separately or together to give students a fun and creative way to understand the importance of sustainable transportation. The activities allows students to present their own travel plan where they must implement enviornmental friendly transportation methods. The second activity offers even more creativity as the students work to act as a publishing team for a travel guide.
Objectives:
The students will:
• Explore the range of transportation and leisure options available in their community.
• Use information gained thus far to plan an environmentally friendly intermodal outing.
• Create an intermodal travel guide for their community.
