How Green is Your Community?
Lesson Description:
This is the first of six lessons on the idea of how green space benefits the community. In this introductory lesson, students will get an overview of the reasons why making a greener space is important for environmental reasons. Students will build basic background knowledge and form a working definition of “green space” and will come to understand the general benefits and environmental effects of grass and other plant life on the local environment.
Learning Objectives:
