Groundwater as Part of the Water Cycle
Lesson Description:
With this lesson students will understand the effects of soils and rocks on filtering groundwater, and the concept of the water cycle including groundwater, transpiration, aquifiers and the water table. Also students will consider sources of contamination in the water cycle.
The lesson provides the experiment activity procedure with then group activity follow up questions and discussion to help better understand the concepts which were demonsrated.
