Lesson Description:
This "Today in Energy" lesson will teach young students about the economics of energy use in their daily lives, and how to efficiently conserve energy. Elementary students will become more aware of the ways they use energy. The lesson will introduce students to concepts of choice, trade-offs, and cost.
Students will be given a limited amount of money (energy bucks supplied below) for a day of activities, where they must then ues math and critical thinking skills to plan their day to pay for their choices and still have fun.
