The winner is a school or classroom who makes sustainability a priority with a focus on one of the following class or school initiatives: a gardening project, green curriculum program, school-wide sustainability initiative, behavior change campaign or, create your own! Prizes
The winning school (one for MA one for RI, one for upstate NY and a winner for downstate NY) will win $250 for their school project and potentially have National Grid volunteers come to your school to help out with your project. Winners will be featured in a regional press campaign and on GEF's website.
Eligibility
This special initiative is available to K-12 schools in National Grid service regions in New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island only.

If you already have a sustainability education or initiative going at your school, simply tell us your story! Please submit a description of your project and include photos or videos to support your story. In your email, please include the school name, location and the grade levels who participated.
